Tropical Energizer


A mango is 14 percent natural sugar, and this can be quickly converted into energy by the body. It is also rich in beta-carotene and vitamin C.


Papaya and mango are both rich in natural fruit sugars, which give an energy boost. They're also easy to digest and gentle on the stomach.

Ingredients:

1 banana, peeled and roughly chopped

1/2 papaya, peeled, deseeded and roughly chopped

1/2 mango, stoned, peeled and roughly chopped

Juice of 1 lime

2cm / 3/4 inche piece fresh ginger, peeled and finely grated

2 tsp hemp oil

125 ml/4fl oz unsweetened rice, almond or soya milk

small handful of crushed ice.

Methods: -

1) Put the chopped banana, papaya and mango in a blender and blend until smooth.

2) Add the lime, ginger, oil, milk and crushed ice and blend again.

3) Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
