Team it up with mashed potatoes and a green salad!
Makes 4 servings
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 boneless pork chops, each about 1/2-inch thick
1 cup chicken broth
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Methods:
1) Heat 1 tablespoon of the olive oil in a saute pan. Add the pork chops and cook over medium-high heat to sear and lightly brown, about 3 minutes on each side.
2) Place the chops in the bottom of a slow cooker. It's okay to layer them. Add the broth and sprinkle with garlic, oregano, pepper and salt. Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the top. Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, or until the chops are cooked through.
